Tour overview:

Embark on a 17-day spiritual journey across India visiting sacred Jyotirlinga temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. This pilgrimage combines divine experiences with cultural exploration as you travel through historic cities like Mumbai, Varanasi, and Delhi. Witness ancient temples, participate in the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, and experience the rich spiritual heritage and traditions of India.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Departure Home Country – Mumbai (Flight:)

Board your flight to Mumbai from your home county.

Day 2: Amsterdam - Arrival Mumbai (Flight: )

Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by our representative, followed by a transfer to the hotel. (Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM)

Day 3: Mumbai

After breakfast, you will have an extensive city tour of Mumbai. You will visit the Hanging Garden, Dobhi Ghat, the Gateway of India, and Mani Bhawan, among others. Later in the afternoon, you will also visit the homes of film stars in the Juhu area.

Mumbai – Mumbai, formerly Bombay, is the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Mumbai is a densely populated city on the west coast of India. Mumbai Harbor boasts the iconic stone arch, the Gateway of India, built by the British Raj in 1924. Near Elephanta Island, there is also an ancient cave temple dedicated to Shiva. Mumbai is also known as the heart of the Bollywood industry.

Day 4: Mumbai - Bhimashanker – Pune (325 km / 7-8 hours drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pune. En route, visit the Bhimashankar Temple (Jyotirlinga – 1) – no guide. Continue to Pune and check in at the hotel upon arrival.

Day 5: Pune - Aurangabad (240 km / approx. 5-6 hours drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Aurangabad and check in at the hotel upon arrival. Evening at leisure.

Day 6: Aurangabad

After breakfast at the hotel, continue with a visit to the Ghrishneshwar Shiva Temple (Jyotirlinga – 2). Enjoy a half-day city tour of Aurangabad in the afternoon (no guide).

Day 7: Aurangabad - Nashik (195 km / approx. 4-5 hours drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Nashik. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Free time in the evening.

Day 8: Nashik

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple (Jyotirlinga – 3) – no guide. Free time in the evening.

Day 9: Nashik – Indore (Flight: Dep. 1250 Hrs. / Arr. 1410 Hrs.)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Indore. Upon arrival in Indore, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will spend the rest of the evening.

Day 10: Indore – Mahakaleswar – Indore (55 km / 2-hour drive one way)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will continue on a day trip to Ujjain – visit the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga (Jyotirlinga – 4) – no guide.

In the afternoon, you will travel back to Indore for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Indore – Omkareswar – Indore (85 km / 3-hour drive one way)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will continue on a day trip to Omkareswar – visit the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple (Jyotirlinga – 5) – no guide.

In the afternoon, you will travel back to Indore for an overnight stay.

Day 12: Indore – Varanasi via Ahmedabad (Flight: )

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Varanasi via Ahmedabad. Upon arrival in Varanasi, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will spend the rest of the evening.

Day 13: Varanasi

After breakfast at the hotel, you will continue with a visit to the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Jyotirlinga – 6) and Sarnath. Enjoy the live Ganga Aarti in the evening.

Today you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and have the entire day at leisure. You can plan your day as you please. (No transportation/no guide).

Day 15: Varanasi - Delhi (Flight: )

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be taken to your hotel where you will spend the rest of the evening.

Today you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and have the entire day at leisure. You can plan your day as you please. (No transportation/no guide)
